This live interactive non-medical program will review how in our work with clients, connecting with empathy supports wellbeing and the care process. We discuss the 3 types of empathy and how they manifest in our daily work. "Heart-Head-Heart," a 3-step model for connecting with empathy, is then applied to a series of client communication scenarios. Attendees work in groups, receive feedback and can begin using the model immediately.
