The OpenEvidence CME activity is an Internet Point-of-Care (IPoC) continuing medical education activity delivered on the OpenEvidence CME portal. Consistent with the IPoC format, clinical topics encountered by learners at the point of care inform the scope of the learning experience. The CME content on the CME portal includes flash cards that highlight key clinical points, followed by a CME learning experience that discusses the topic in the context of the learner s specialty board content domain, along with accompanying explanations and cited references. The content is grounded in peer-reviewed literature and specialty society guidelines. Each topic is linked to a specialty board content domain and content outline, so learners reinforce knowledge within recognized competency frameworks aligned with maintenance-of-certification requirements.
